Protestors

I explored the recent practice of protest in America, primarily those of the Jan. 6 insurrection and the BLM protests. I want to address how privilege is placed on race, how the actions of those on Jan 6 deserved more consequences. The cause of what they were fighting for was all misinformation/false narrative, they are Republicans, and a majority white crowd. On the other hand, the “opposite” would be BLM as they are fighting for a real cause, a majority don’t have privilege, lean more toward liberalism, and are more diverse in gathering.
