A homage to the 70’s graffiti art movement in which various youth through the city found spray paint as their expression and the carts as their canvases, during a difficult economical and social time in the city. The buildings on fire in the background represent the arson that was being conducted by landlords in the Bronx due to a government refund infrastructure program.
